GC Leagues 2022
Report by team manager Richard Keighley. Results for the various areas within each League can be found on the EACF website.
As organiser of our League teams, I have had to contend with the unexpected absence of a number of our notable players this season owing to injury or illness as well as unavailability for the usual reasons of holidays and family commitments. However, this problem has been mitigated by the opportunity to select improving players whose skills have been enhanced during the Wednesday roll ups.
Open League -
Five strong teams participated in this League. Two good wins were offset by two narrow defeats and the team finished as runners-
Regular team members were Les Heard, Ross Bagni, Eric Audsley and George Collin, supported twice by Terry Collis.

B Level League -
Always competitive, this team also secured two wins, but suffered two close defeats and one more substantial one.

v Letchworth (away) Won 11-
The team finished 4th out of 6, the winners were Enfield.
Handicap League -
Five teams contested the Western Area of this League. There was a close finish to all matches, results often depending on the outcome of the last round of games.
Terry Collis participated in all fivematches. What would we do without him? Michael Tideswell, Nick Boxall and Richard Keighley were also regular members and Tony Meredith, Chris Harrison, and Gill Brewer took part once each.

The team finished 3rd, with Stony Stratford Blues becoming the Area winner.
