The quote now has a certain poignancy as the 2012 season will be the last on the existing lawns. If you have yet to experience Wrest Park’s unique atmosphere this year’s tournaments are your last opportunity to do so. English Heritage are preparing four lawns at the top of the drive in readiness for the 2013 season, but the surroundings will be rather different, and certainly not as beautiful.
